Customer Service Adviser – Customer Operations
We are looking for organised and customer focused individuals to join our Customer Service Unit, supporting the delivery of high-quality services to our customers and stakeholders.
This is an exciting time to join the service as we continue to modernise how we support our customers through an ongoing programme of digital transformation. You will play a key role in helping customers access services in ways that are efficient, accessible and responsive to their needs.
As part of a busy, multi-functional team, you will deliver a professional and customer-focused service across a wide range of Council services. You will support customers through a variety of channels, including telephone, face-to-face and digital platforms, including our digital adviser, Millie, helping customers access the right services quickly and easily.
You will have experience of working in a customer service role, dealing with members of the public and working in a team environment, as well as knowledge of standard software packages including Microsoft Office and previous use of a CRM application.
It is essential that you are outgoing and team oriented and customer focused, with effective communication skills and a flexible approach to resolving customer issues.
It is desirable that you hold an SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
An assessment centre will be held at Renfrewshire House as part of the selection process.
