This is an innovative post created to support the development and implementation of Whole Family Wellbeing in Renfrewshire.
It is essential that you possess an honours degree or professional qualification in social sciences, education, health, or related subject. You will have experience in creating and handling data quality rules, defining data reconciliation rules, and data migration and integration across various systems, with the ability to identify, collect and migrate data, as well as manipulate and analyse different data sets.
You must have an established track record in designing, carrying out or managing social research, providing research-based advice and briefings as well as experience of integrating datasets from different organisations / services and establishing governance. You will have experience of designing and managing complex data portfolios, reporting research information to non-specialist stakeholders and experience of gathering, analysing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data.
Experience of partnership working is essential for this post as well as having a strong understanding of data governance and management. You should possess effective evaluation skills and the ability to intervene and strengthen evaluation across the services and organisations.
You will have effective communication skills both written and oral as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver at pace. You should have the ability to communicate and influence non-specialists in research and evaluation practice and should be a self-starting, creative thinking individual with a can-do attitude.
It is essential that you can develop a rapport with children, young people, and adults, including those who might be harder to reach and should be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funded for 23 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
