The Housing Investment Team has responsibility for the asset management of 12,000 Council houses across Renfrewshire.  This role is to manage and be responsible for all aspects of fire safety compliance related to Housing assets and includes responsibility for the procurement, management and performance of contractors delivering fire compliance works and for the monitoring and reporting on performance.

 

It is essential that you have a professional qualification in a property/building related specialism (MIFSM, MCIOB, MRICS, CMIOSH, MBFIM), a NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate or equivalent and a Certificate of Applied Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent

 

Experience of managing contractors including knowledge and understanding of contract specification monitoring and performance management of contracts is essential along with extensive experience in managing Fire Safety Compliance within the Social Housing sector. Effective IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office software packages is required.

 

It is desirable that you experience in a similar role within a local authority or Housing Association.
