Operations Manager (Older Adult Building Based Services)

 

Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is going through a period of redesign across our Older Adult Service and are offering the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to join our forward-thinking team.

 

We are seeking to appoint an Operations Manager (Older Adult Building Based Service) for our Residential Care Homes, Extra Care Housing and Day Care Services.
The post holder will report to the Head of Health and Social Care with lead for Social Work Functions and will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational day to day management of HSCP’s Residential Care Homes, Extra Care Housing and Day Care Services. These services are high performing and highly regarded by the local community and we are seeking an individual with the focus and commitment to maintain this status whilst managing the complex financial and service demand that lie ahead. We seek an individual who is committed to building services that are fit for our communities’ future needs.

 


You must be Educated to degree level or hold a professional qualification in Social Work, Health or equivalent.

 

You will have a proven and successful track-record in managing demanding complex Social Work Services at a senior level, with experience of managing demanding and complex service areas and activities within a Social Care or Health setting.

 

It is essential you have experience and understanding of financial and budget management, people management skills, evidence of successfully managing complex change as well as a demonstratable understanding of all aspects of older people’s services, the issues impacting these services and service integration delivery models.
Proven skills in evaluating service demand/delivery, predicting resource issues, and overcoming obstacles is also essential.

 

You must have the ability to develop effective working relationships with managers, staff, and other stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds and disciplines and will have a proven ability to provide effective leadership in developing and delivering effective strategies to deliver organisational goals.
