This is an exciting time to be joining Renfrewshire Council. We are looking to recruit a Roads Engineer for our Infrastructure Investment Team. The post holder will be responsible for managing the delivery of our Roads Capital Investment Programme.

 

 

We are looking for someone, who is enthusiastic with the skills and experience to deliver our ambitious agenda to provide maximum economic and environmental benefit for Renfrewshire. You will have a passion for providing high quality services to the public and driving service improvements and organisational change.

 

 

Based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley, you will lead a number of challenging work areas and make improvements to the Renfrewshire’s Road network and associated infrastructure.

 

 

You will have a relevant professional qualification in roads, substantial experience in multi-disciplinary project work, you will be highly motivated and have effective organisational, time management skills, communication, presentation, influencing, negotiation and project management skills and be able to develop and sustain relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

 

 

It is essential you have experience in financial management with the ability to manage risk and be accountable for decisions taken.

 

 

A Full Driving Licence also essential.

 

 

Relevant Degree or Post Graduate qualification and experience in delivery of capital investment programmes is desirable.
