Service Delivery Officer (Technology Enabled Care/Overnight Service/Community Meals)

 

 

 

Renfrewshire is a leading organisation in the transformation from analogue to digital alarm services. We are looking for a Service Delivery Officer who has knowledge and understanding of a Telecare service with skills and knowledge and the abilities to manage the day-to-day operational management of Telecare service, alongside the designated Overnight services, and Community meals service.

 

 

It is essential you have leadership and management experience of front-line services to support this pivotal role in our services with a strong focus on transformational change, digital skills, leadership skills, and budget management experience.

 

 

Effective IT skills along with effective communication skills, interpersonal organisational, administrative, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to produce and deliver concise visual presentations to a range of audiences. You will be able to produce reports on service performance, future service needs and produce a range of analytical reports that will inform development of the services and strategic plans.

 

 

The Telecare service holds a registration with the TSA, the post holder will ensure that procedures, polices and protocols are up to date and followed in accordance with the terms of the TSA's (TEC Services Association) Quality Standards Framework, and that service standards are in line with the requirements of the registration.

 

 

You will promote the use of digital equipment through the provision of information and will also provide leadership and management to the Telecare Team, Overnight service and Community Meals Service, motivating and inspire a team to deliver outstanding levels of service to our customers through effective supervision of staff, and pro-active line management of front-line resources.

 

 

You will lead the team and provide support and direction on a day-to-day basis, and deal with service escalated where necessary, taking appropriate action and ensuring a satisfactory resolution to support service delivery across the teams.

 

 

You will offer mentoring, coaching and advice to the teams and have responsibility for first line complaint investigation/resolution, performance management, budget, and resource management.

 

 

You will be expected to be flexible in your duties and carry out any other duties falling within the general scope of the job, as requested by management and to undertake work of a similar level.

 

 

Experience in writing comprehensive reports, Educated to SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and driving licence are essential.

 

 

Registration required with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is also essential.
