An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for a temporary Service Quality Team Leader (Grade 7) within the Stakeholder & Service Quality service area. The successful applicant will lead and support the effective operation of Service Delivery improvements over a range of service areas including Revenues, Benefits and Scottish Welfare Fund. This includes the identification of training needs required across these service areas as well as the delivery of training. Duties will include supporting the development of a training strategy to meet the required needs of the service areas, evaluating performance and accuracy across service areas as well as managing your own and team’s workload. The post will also include a leading role on an element of Benefit/Council Tax Reduction audit workload including ensuring Benefit pre-payment checks and case cleansing are conducted. In addition to this, monitoring activities will be undertaken in relation to Processing and the Benefits Subsidy. It is essential you have experience of managing staff and workload in a team environment, are able to identify areas for personal development in team members and recognise where support is needed as well as having a positive attitude to change excellent interpersonal skills. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
