You will be a key member of the Technology Enabled Care Team (TECS) providing technical knowledge of equipment, programming and the installation of digital alarms and peripherals.

 

You will manage a team of technicians within the TECS service providing training and support to ensure the technical service meets Telecare Service Association standards and on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible to schedule the activity and workload of the technicians.

 

You will also be responsible for stock management of the TECS alarm equipment and link with suppliers when required. You will require to have in place data information systems that can report on performance and identify any areas requiring improvement action or concern to the Telecare Lead Officer.

 

It is essential that you possess an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or are willing to work towards the qualification to be able to achieve SSSC registration

 

You will have effective communication skills and be observant, with analytical skills and be able to translate service user requirements into working solutions. It is important that in your role you can develop good working relationships with other HSCP staff, National Digital Users group and suppliers to promote the service and achieve the best outcomes for service users.


It is desirable that you have experience of a call handling system in a care setting and practical operational experience of a technology enabled care service.
