The Environmental Health Officer is responsible, through the Team Leader -Environmental Health, for the delivery of an environmental health service to the Council and the people of Shetland.
The post holder will be required to carry out the full range of day to day functions and duties of an Environmental Health Officer in accordance with legislative requirements and the Council’s policies and priorities as directed. They will be required to provide a high quality service to the public, the business community and external organisations and take every opportunity to enhance the image and reputation of both Environmental Health and the Council;
