Stirling Council are looking for a Bridges Project Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving the region’s bridges and structures. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major projects, help shape our asset management strategy, and ensure our transport network is safe and resilient.

We are looking for a person with structures experience, inspection and design, with ambitions to gain experience and work towards professional status. Your Role

You will:

  • Undertake and contribute to bridge inspections, assessments, and asset management strategies.
  • Support in the provision of technical guidance and information on bridge design, maintenance, and construction projects.
  • Work with the councils Bridges Team, and other internal teams, and with contractors, consultants to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the service.
