Caretaker/Cleaner – Schools An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a Caretaker/Cleaner in support of Newton Nursery. The successful candidate will deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the Nursery School community on a 10.00 hours per week 52 weeks per year permanent contract. Hours of work will be approx. 6pm – 8.00pm daily Mon - Fri and paid at Stirling Council Grade 3. These hours can be changed to suit service needs. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone and at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
