The Education Team are recruiting

Pupil Transport Assistants

Do you enjoy working with children and would consider escorting them to ensure safe travel to and from school? Are you experienced/capable to care for a range of needs from medical (training will be provided) to behavioural?

Are you flexible, working between 8-10 AM in the mornings and 2.30-4.0 PM in the afternoons?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Pupil Transport Assistant positions within the Schools, Learning and Education team. Successful candidates will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.

You will be responsible for the safe transportation of pupils who will often have additional support needs and disabilities to and from educational establishments. Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals who enjoy delivering an efficient service with high levels of customer care. A driving licence would be advantageous as pick up/drop off may be from a central location.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
