An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing Property and Assets team for a Housing Revenue and Capital Accounts Officer.
This role will assist and support the Service Accountant with the provision of financial management and budgetary information to Housing Management, Team Leaders and staff. This also includes development and implementing financial and budgetary control to monitor both capital and housing revenue accounts and expenditure in line with our Financial Regulations. The post holder will assist with the payment of invoices, coding and budget transformation for the service.
Applicants should have practical experience within a finance environment and have an HNC in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification. A good level of numeracy, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this post. A knowledge of Housing Legislation and processes would be advantageous but not essential.
