A vacancy has arisen for a library assistant in Bridge of Allan Library. You will assist in the delivery of a range of library services to the community. You will be educated to standard grade or equivalent, be interested in literature and have good ICT skills.

A flexible approach to the working week, which will include evening and weekend working, is essential. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work with people of all age groups and abilities. We are looking for someone who can participate in and deliver Bookbug sessions as required (training would be provided).

Although previous library experience is desirable, applicants with a customer focussed attitude and good team-working skills should also apply.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a PVG for adults and children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
