Stirling Council is excited to launch two brand-new bus services as part of a 2-year pilot project, and we’re looking for four enthusiastic part-time Minibus Drivers to help make this initiative a success.

This is a unique opportunity where you will be driving through beautiful rural settings as part of your daily routine, so if you love Scotland’s scenic landscapes, this role offers the perfect backdrop. You will be involved from day one, shaping a service that will make a real difference in our communities. What You’ll Do

  • Operate Council vehicles on local bus routes, ensuring safe and reliable transport for passengers.
  • Handle cash transactions and deliver outstanding customer care.
  • Assist passengers when needed, making journeys accessible and comfortable.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of Category D1 licence (PSV experience desirable).
  • Excellent communication and basic numeric skills.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out physical duties.
  • A friendly, helpful attitude and commitment to safety.

Desirable Criteria

  • MiDAS training and experience with mobility aids.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Previous experience in accessible transport.
