Job Description

Stirling Council will be operating a bus service for a 2-year pilot period and we are looking for minibus driver for this service. This is a new service and provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved from the outset, and will be key to making the pilot a success. 

You will be required to operate Council vehicles, transporting members of the public on local bus services. The successful candidate will be required to handle cash and be able to display excellent customer care skills.

The bus will be based out of Callander Roads depot with part time roles available. 

It is desirable that you will have previous driving PSV experience and you must have as a minimum a category D1 on your licence. It is essential that you have good communication and basic numeric skills, the ability to work unsupervised and be able to carry out physical duties including assisting passengers.

Midas training and previous use of safety and mobility aids relating to accessible vehicles is desirable, as is a First Aid qualification.
