Wallace High School is committed to the provision of the highest standards of educational provision for each and every young person through effective learning and teaching and a robust pupil support system.
You will be required to exhibit dynamic classroom leadership and will ensure that the highest standards of learning and teaching are delivered; ensure the fluid process of departmental monitoring and tracking; that SQA procedures and paperwork have been accurately and are timeously implemented; and to ensure that Wallace High delivers on the key drivers and priorities within the National Improvement Framework, including a key focus on ongoing faculty improvement priorities.
You must be confident, articulate, and dynamic and be able to demonstrate their ability to be creative, motivate others and exercise effective classroom leadership, organising work to meet tight timescales, and ensuring that the faculty is meeting the needs of Wallace High's young people.
You must possess GTCS registration in a subject relevant to the delivery of the Home Economics and Health & Wellbeing curriculum within the school. The post will commence in August 2026.
