An opportunity has arisen for an Out of Hours Senior Support Worker within our Care at Home teams. Our team members work to agreed outcome support plans providing a re-ablement approach to individuals living in their own homes within their communities.
The work schedule spans two weeks: the first week includes Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, while the second week includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with work hours from 17:15 to 22:15. The post holder would deal with any emergencies and take appropriate actions. The requirement for the post is SVQ level 3 in Health and Social care and a qualification in leadership and management as required for registration (or the ability to achieve this with in a time scale). You would also have to conduct 1 to 1 supervisions with front line staff.
The post holder will work as part of Health & Social Care Partnership. You would be expected to undertake care tasks and also support people in their daily living tasks and promote self-care of long-term medical conditions when required in an emergency. We are looking for someone who can be responsive, flexible and work in a professional manner.
