An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stirling Council for a Senior Transport Development Officer to play a leading role in delivering the Council’s sustainable transport ambitions.

Working within the Sustainable Transport and Development Team, you will lead the development and delivery of projects aligned with the Council’s Climate and Nature Emergency Plan and newly adopted Sustainable Mobility Strategy. This is a key role, responsible for shaping and delivering a diverse portfolio of sustainable transport projects, with a particular initial focus on active travel in line with the Active Travel Action Plan.

You will operate across both strategic and delivery functions, taking projects from early development through to implementation, while ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, funding requirements, and regional investment programmes.

If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
