Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a social worker within the Rural Team! The post holder will be part of an Adult Social Care team, located within the Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. The post holder will work within an outcomes based framework to carry out individual assessments, and to plan, manage and review this care. To achieve this the successful candidate will be required to work with a range of partner agencies and services in various settings to support service users. The role will also require knowledge and experience in the areas of Adult Support and Protection, Adults with Incapacity, Self Direct Support and Carers Legislation. You will be expected to carry out a range of social work assessments and interventions to support service users to meet identified outcomes. The negotiation of flexible support care plans, and the monitoring and reviewing of individual care and support options. This is a permanent, full-time post in a rural Social Work Team. We aim to provide flexible working arrangements to meet the needs of the service and promote a positive work/life balance. All applicants must be registered, or in the process of registering with Scottish Social Services Council and hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. We would welcome applications from registered Social Workers and from Final Year Degree in Social Work Students looking to start their career as a Social Worker.
