This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our secondary specialist provision in Bannockburn High School, which opened in August 2023. Our specialist provision currently meets the needs of autistic young people and those young people with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking to appoint 2 x 1.0fte permanent Support for Learning Assistants (SLAs) who will work for 27.5 hours per week during term-time.
You will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. You will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen & respond appropriately to young people. You will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.
