Corbiewood Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, nurturing and dedicated support for learning assistant. Corbiewood Primary is a new school being built for the South Stirling Gateway housing development. We are looking for a support for learning assistant who is nurturing, adaptable and enjoys working in a team to support children and young people.
You will be expected to support pupils with a range of additional support needs, including social and emotional needs. We are seeking applicants who have a passion for working with children. Successful candidates will work with pupils in small groups, or individually, and will also assist teaching staff with a range of activities to support whole class learning.
Corbiewood Primary School is situated in the South Stirling Gateway development, a new residential area. As the school building is currently due to be completed in September 2026, pupils enrolled in Corbiewood Primary School in August will be temporarily accommodated within another nearby school until the school building is complete. They will be Corbiewood Primary School pupils, with their own uniform, classroom and teaching staff who will all transfer with pupils once the school building is complete.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
