An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support for Learning Assistant to become part of our Raploch Nursery team. 

This is a permanent full-time position (35 hours). 

You will be fully involved in the life and work of this happy and busy nursery setting, providing an invaluable contribution towards high quality care and education of children. 

Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities, ideally including those with additional support needs. You will work within an enthusiastic and hard-working team to support children with learning opportunities that are part of a high quality, child-centred approaches. 

You will be a reliable, patient and innovative individual, who will be an effective team member. In addition, you will have good communication and organisational skills, a positive and solution focused attitude, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development. Training and support will be provided to ensure that the successful candidate can effectively and confidently provide the required support for children.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.

Any planned leave must be disclosed at the time of interview. 

Successful candidates will also be asked to complete registration with SSSC within the first 3 months of employment.
