£29,036, Per Annum, Pro Rata

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our catering team at the Coatbridge Campus Refectory. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering healthy, affordable, and high-quality meals to our students, staff, and visitors.

As part of the catering team, you will:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with daily menus.
• Contribute to menu planning that reflects diverse dietary needs and promotes healthy choices.
• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, allergen, and health and safety requirements.
• Support stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced refectory environment.

We are looking for someone with:

• An SVQ/NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience working in a busy kitchen or catering environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
