Temporary for Six Months

As a key member of the HR team, you will support in the delivery of a comprehensive and effective HR service to managers and staff, by undertaking a range of project work, policy development and case management. 

You will assume a lead role in supporting a portfolio of HR related activity, including complex case management and strategic projects including policy development and absence management initiatives.   Working collaboratively with Colleagues you will drive innovation and service improvement, ensuring that the College’s HR policies and processes are fit for purpose and that our interactions with staff before, during and after their employment at the College are engaging and positive.  

Qualified to degree level (SCQF9) in a relevant area, you will have proven experience of providing advice across the range of HR activity.  You will have a good understanding of human resource practice and the main elements of UK employment law and be experienced in supporting complex case management processes.  With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be a confident and effective problem solver and thrive on resolving issues effectively and sensitively.  Experience of project work and policy development is essential and you will be a proficient user of ICT.  You should have a proactive and flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise your own workload is crucial.
