PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – PERFORMING ARTS

Permanent

14 hours per week

£32,820 Per Annum Pro Rata

We have an opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join the Music Industries and Performing Arts department at New College Lanarkshire. You will work closely with the Academic leader & performing arts team to provide administrative support & production assistance for the department across our two college campuses throughout the academic year, as well as external venues during a production run. Your contributions to the department will include, but are not limited to:

• Interdepartmental & external venue liaising
• Maintaining department social media
• Scheduling of department & production needs
• Budgeting & financial needs
• Networking & building industry connections
• Day to day administrative tasks & needs
• Box office & Front of house tasks
• Dealing with members of the public
• Promotion of courses
• General support of performing arts team & students

The successful applicant will possess an HND (or equivalent) in a performing arts related subject. Performing Arts experience is desirable, as well as experience in managing & planning. This post involves evening and weekend work when required.  Possession of a full driving licence is desirable.
