DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMOTIVE STUDIES
Technician (Automotive)
35 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract until 30 June 2024
£26,482 per annum
With proven experience in light vehicle automotive trade and having a good knowledge of relevant terminology, tools and equipment, you will be responsible for technical support requirements within the department.
You must hold qualifications or skills and experience to SCQF Level 7. This should include a SVQ Level 3 certificate in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) and ideally be working towards SCQF Level 7 (HNC or equivalent). You should possess excellent communication skills, good organisational skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
This post will be based at our Cumbernauld campus, however there will be a requirement to work across campuses as appropriate.
