Temporary Lecturer - Counselling

A qualified practicing counsellor as well Membership of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) is essential for this post. You will support the teaching and development of the counselling curriculum within the Department of Dental, Health & Social Care.
Qualified to degree level (SCQF level 9) you must have a good understanding of the subject area. You will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and encourage students.
Possession of a teaching qualification and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous and you will ideally have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.
An effective communicator and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines and on your own initiative.
These posts will involve a cross-college teaching remit.
