TEMPORARY LECTURER – JAZZ & TAP DANCE
Music Industries & Performing Arts
Motherwell & Coatbridge Campus
Temporary until January 2027
15 hours per week
£43,402 - £52,247 Per Annum Pro Rata
We have an opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join the Performing Arts Team. You will contribute to the delivery of our Performing Arts subjects across SCQF Levels 6-8 at Coatbridge and Motherwell campuses.
The successful applicant will possess a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject and have relevant industry experience in the following areas:
- Strong technical ability in Jazz & Tap dance styles with accuracy and sharpness.
- Musicality and advanced rhythmic awareness.
- Choreographic ability for solo and group work.
- Stagecraft and performance qualities for stage and screen.
- Clear teaching and communication skills.
- Rehearsal direction and group management.
- Current knowledge of industry trends.
- Classroom management
Experience in the delivery of the FE curriculum and a teaching qualification are desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential.
The successful applicants may be required to deliver at any of the College’s main campuses, online and/or in private company training facilities.
