TEMPORARY LECTURER – DENTAL

£43,402 - £52,247 per annum pro rata

Up to 15 hours per week

Coatbridge Campus

Temporary until June 2027

You’ll be qualified to at least SCQF Level 9 (Degree level) and bring relevant professional experience in your field.

Membership of the General Dentist Council (GDC) is essential and registration with the General Teaching Council (GTC) is advantageous, although, you should be willing to work towards this.

You’ll have a strong understanding of your subject area and proven experience in teaching within the Dental curriculum. With excellent organisational skills and a genuine ability to motivate and inspire learners, you’ll create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

A teaching qualification and assessor or verifier awards would be desirable, as would experience in developing and delivering programmes within Further Education. We’re looking for someone who embraces innovation in learning and teaching, and who’s eager to explore creative approaches to education.

You’ll be an effective communicator, highly motivated, and passionate about helping students succeed. The ability to work independently, manage your workload, and meet deadlines is key to thriving in this role.

This position involves cross-campus working, offering the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across different sites.
