Temporary Lecturer - Hairdressing
£40,170 - £48,357 per annum, pro rata
9 hours per week
Motherwell Campus
Temporary until 28 February 2025
With experience in Hairdressing, the successful candidate will have the necessary skills to support the learning, teaching, assessing and development of this curriculum area, within an exciting and dynamic discipline.
Qualified to SVQ level 3 Hairdressing or above and with current industry experience, you must have sound understanding, knowledge and occupational competence of the subject area. You must possess excellent communication, digital and organisational skills and have the ability to motivate and encourage students by adopting innovative methods of learning and teaching, in a classroom setting or virtually.
Possession of a teaching qualification, assessor and/or verifier units and experience in delivering and developing the subject curriculum within further education would be advantageous.
