NCL is looking to appoint a Work Based Assessor to support, assess and verify candidates undertaking SVQ’s at SCQF Level 6 in Fabrication and Welding. The suitable candidate will be qualified to SVQ level 3 (SCQF Level 6) in Fabrication and Welding and in possession of a minimum HNC in a related discipline. You will be in possession of (or willing to work towards) a relevant formal Assessor qualification relating to the gathering of evidence of learner attainment in a range of work settings.
Successful candidates should hold (or willing to work towards) a relevant H&S award such as IOSH Managing Safely.
Recent industrial experience in Fabrication and Welding Sector and knowledge of the relevant National Occupational Standards system is essential for this post, as is the ability to work to strict deadlines.
