INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

Energy Transitions Outreach Vehicle Facilitator/Driver (Ref. No. A965) 
Full Time/Fixed Term (2 Years)/Altens Campus
Salary: Â£33,392.79 - £37,476.26 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated individual for an exciting new post which will require them to drive and facilitate aboard our Energy Transitions outreach vehicle.  Designed by the Glasgow Science Centre, the vehicle contains exhibits intended to provide inspiration, education and information in relation to the energy transition and associated careers. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and setting up the vehicle on location in preparation for safe use and provide effective facilitation and instruction to agreed standards to school pupils, community learners and other visitors.

Candidates should be qualified to HNC/D (or equivalent) in a STEM subject and hold a current UK driving licence as well as the ability to work on their own initiative and be committed to customer service and quality improvement.

Candidates should have experience of working with young people and have experience of demonstration and communication skills. Experience of driving vehicles of 7.5t would be desirable, but training and qualification would be provided for those lacking that experience.
