We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Manager to lead and develop our estates and facilities management function across the College. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our campuses provide safe, compliant, and high-quality environments that support learning, teaching, and the wider student experience.
With responsibility for the strategic development and operational management of estates infrastructure, you will oversee facilities management services including cleaning, janitorial provision, and contracted services. Leading a dedicated team and working closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors, you will build strong, productive partnerships that deliver high standards and value for money. You will demonstrate the ability to manage budgets effectively, lead change initiatives, and drive service excellence across a diverse and geographically dispersed estate.
As part of the wider leadership team, you will contribute to the development of estates strategy and play a central role in long-term infrastructure planning. You will be a confident communicator, able to translate complex technical information for a range of audiences, and influence decision-making at all levels.
Candidates should possess significant experience in facilities and estates management, including the operation of contracted services and health and safety procedures. A degree (SCQF Level 9 or equivalent) and evidence of continued professional development are essential. A BIFM Level 6 qualification, NEBOSH Diploma, or membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
You will be self-motivated, highly independent, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. The role requires the ability to travel regularly between College sites and work flexibly to meet the needs of the post.
If you are a strategic, solutions-focused leader with a passion for creating outstanding environments that enable success, we would welcome your application.
