Aberdeen City Campus/Full-time/6 Months Fixed-Term
Salary: £33,402.49 - £35,505.30 pro per annum
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our busy team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join NESCol as we deliver our new Strategic Plan and enhance our approach to attracting and retaining talent.
A key focus of this role will be supporting a recruitment improvement project, reviewing our recruitment materials, processes and candidate experience. You will play an important role in helping NESCol strengthen its reputation as an employer of choice, ensuring our practices are inclusive and efficient.
In addition, you will be required to carry out general HR operational support including; the monitoring and maintenance of sickness absence and employee relations to the People Services team.
The successful candidate should hold a certificate in HR Practice equivalent to Level 3 CIPD Foundation and have previous experience in an HR or recruitment administrative role. Applicants should have a basic understanding of employment legislation, HR best practice and have experience of supporting recruitment activities.

The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential and candidates should also have strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages - in particular Excel, Word and Outlook. The ability to meet deadlines and the need for accuracy and attention to detail is essential and applicants must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.
