Full-Time/Permanent/Aberdeen City Campus

Salary:  £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum 

The College is looking to recruit a Full Time Lecturer in Professional Cookery. This post would be for 35 hours per week.

If you are an enthusiastic individual, with City and Guilds 706/3, Advanced Diploma Level 3 or HNC/D Professional Cookery, or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject area together with industry experience and recent involvement in training we’d like to hear from you!

PERSON SPECIFICATION

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

1. Working knowledge of Professional Cookery, minimum 3 years in a Head Chef position
2. Good communication skills
3. Good presentation skills
4. Good interpersonal skills
5. Good organisational skills
6. Ability to develop and use appropriate learning/teaching/training materials
7. Computer literate
8. * Knowledge and/or experience of the use of electronic learning materials

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

1. City & Guilds 706/3 or Advanced Diploma Level 3
2. Up to date experience in a position as a Head Chef, minimum 3 years’ experience
3. * Teaching or training experience
4. * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)
5. * Assessment experience
6. * Assessment qualification
7. * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
8. * GTC registration
