Salary: £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum
The College is looking to recruit a Full Time Lecturer in Professional Cookery. This post would be for 35 hours per week.
Are you a talented, motivated Chef with excellent communication and presentation skills who will engage learners and motivate them to succeed? If you are an enthusiastic individual, with City and Guilds 706/3, Advanced Diploma Level 3 or HNC/D Professional Cookery, or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject area together with industry experience and recent involvement in training we’d like to hear from you!

PERSON SPECIFICATION

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Working knowledge of Professional Cookery, minimum 3 years in a Head Chef position
- Good communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to develop and use appropriate learning/teaching/training materials
- Computer literate
- * Knowledge and/or experience of the use of electronic learning materials
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- City & Guilds 706/3 or Advanced Diploma Level 3
- Up to date experience in a position as a Head Chef, minimum 3 years’ experience

- * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)
- * Assessment experience
- * Assessment qualification
- * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
- * GTC registration
