Aberdeen City Campus/Part-time 30 Hours/1 Year Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £30,388.04 - £34,057.84 pro per annum
Actual Salary: £26,046.90 - £29,192.43 per annum
We are seeking a talented People Services Assistant to join our busy team. You will be required to carry out operational support including; recruitment and selection, monitoring and maintenance of sickness absence and employee relations to the People Services team.
The successful candidate should hold or be willing to work towards a certificate in HR Practice equivalent to Level 3 CIPD Foundation and have previous experience in an administrative role. Applicants should have a basic understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Candidates should have strong IT skills including the Microsoft Office Packages in particular Excel, Word and Outlook. The ability to meet deadlines and the need for accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Applicants must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.

JOB TITLE: People Services Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Certificate in HR Practice that equates to CIPD Level 3 Foundation or a
commitment to work towards. (Broadly comparable to SCQF level 6)
2. Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development.
EXPERIENCE
1. Previous experience in an administrative role.
2. Experience of using IT based systems
3. Experience within an HR, Payroll or Learning and Development capacity*
4. Experience with Job Evaluation Schemes*
