Procurement Administrator (Ref A966)

Full time/Fixed Term (initial 6 month period)/Aberdeen City Campus

Salary: £30,388.04 – £31,423.91 per annum

 

The main duties include providing Support to the Procurement Officers and Procurement Manager in the provision of an efficient procurement service to the College and its subsidiaries.

 

Supporting College staff through the full end to end procurement lifecycle, including completion of tender documentation, evaluation, award notification and contract management for mini competitions and regulated procurements.

 

College-wide specialist technical advice and practical support on procurement legislation, compliance and value for money.

 

To maintain the PECOS procurement management system and ensure its effective operation in the College and its subsidiaries.

JOB TITLE: Procurement Administrator

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Relevant HNC or equivalent level qualification or demonstrable experience (SCQF Level 7).
  2. Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development
  3. Experience in delivering a complex administrative service within a busy office environment
  4. Willingness to train and develop procurement capability and to study towards CIPS Level 2.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
