Job Description
Are you naturally inclined towards physical tasks and passionate about the practical aspects of engineering and welding practices?
We're seeking an organised individual to provide vital technical and storekeeping support to the curriculum, in our Welding workshop environment within the Technical Support team at our Fraserburgh Campus.
This position calls for individuals with an understanding of the welding industry, emphasising adaptability and the ability to work independently preferably with the capability of stores organisation and use of online electronic procurement systems.
Workload flexibility and health and safety awareness is crucial, as this role involves a diverse workload and hands-on support with general practices, material preparation and the repair and service of tooling and equipment.
Applicants should have some experience in support and storekeeping within the engineering/welding industry or within a similar customer-focused practical based environment.
The candidate should hold an NC (SCQF Level 4 or equivalent) qualification in engineering/welding and preferably have recent relevant experience in the welding Industry. Familiarity with the operation of welding machinery and equipment would be advantageous.
