Bank Lecturer Accounting
Business, Creative and Enterprise Faculty
Hours and days are as required
Salary: £40,170 - £48,357 per annum pro rata, dependent on experience
West Lothian College are looking to expand its register of bank Lecturers. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Business, Creative and Enterprise faculty, you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.
We are looking for individuals who are able to be flexible on a fixed term ‘as and when’ basis. Core college working hours, which cover may be required during, are Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm. The college is also open for evening classes on a Tuesday and Thursday 6.00-9.00pm. We are requesting bank staff with availability to work during these times. Applications are invited to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 5 to Level 8 courses to include both Financial and Management accounting, Taxation, Cost accounting and a knowledge of accounting software packages such as sage. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the college.
Applicants should have a degree or appropriate professional qualification in their specialist field. It is essential that you have practised experience within accounting. A TQFE or equivalent and lecturing experience within the Accounting Sector is desirable.
