Hours: 15.39 p/w

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £41,833 - £50,359 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience)

West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to our Business, Creative and Enterprise team. Working within this friendly and knowledgeable team, you will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 5 to Level 9, including those within the BA Accounting degree.

These courses cover a range of topics including Financial and Management Accounting, Taxation, and Cost Accounting. Applicants should also have knowledge of accounting software packages such as Sage.

You will be responsible for developing course materials for both online and face-to-face learning, working flexibly, and collaborating effectively with other members of the college team.

Applicants should have a degree or appropriate professional qualification in their specialist field. It is essential that you have practiced experience within accounting. A TQFE or equivalent and lecturing experience within the Accounting Sector is desirable.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to deliver a 10–15 minute presentation and undertake a competency-based interview.
