Lecturer - Beauty Therapy

Hours: Multiple post and hours available (this will be discussed at interview)   

Salary: £41,833 - £50,359 pro rata, per annum (dependent on experience) 

 

West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Beauty Therapy Department, you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability. 

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 8. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the College. 

The hours range from 4.38 hrs to 13.12 hrs, due to curriculum requirements, hours fluctuate between blocks 1-3. 

Applicants should have a HND in the relevant subject as well as extensive practiced skills following vocational qualification. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Beauty Therapy sector is preferable.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to prepare and deliver a 10-minute presentation and undertake a competency-based interview.
