To support the development of research, insight and public engagement planning for Police Scotland.

Assure that research, insight and public engagement are to industry standards, planned, co-ordinated and built across Police Scotland to provide dynamic, evidence-based insights that can stand up to scrutiny and support the decision-making process.

Assist the departmental manager and business areas in the delivery of specific areas of work/projects, in line with Police Scotland, and its partners’, strategic direction, outcomes and priorities.
