About the Role

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is an integral member of the IT department, responsible for delivering, maintaining, and optimising secure, stable infrastructure services that support the organisations critical business operations.

Acting as a technical specialist and trusted advisor, you will translate complex technical requirements into practical infrastructure solutions. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining reliable and resilient infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organisational goals while driving growth and innovation.

You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external partners to implement and support infrastructure components across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

What You Will Bring

As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will have proven experience in an infrastructure engineering role within a complex working environment, along with expertise in modern infrastructure technologies.

You will be proactive and detail-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills, delivering high-quality work while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in hybrid Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity management. You will have experience with virtualisation platforms and administering enterprise backup solutions (with Rubrik experience being highly advantageous). A solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management is also essential.

Experience contributing to or leading previous cloud migration projects, including workload assessment, planning, execution, and post‑migration optimisation and Microsoft certifications are desirable.
