SCRA is seeking an experienced and creative Product Manager (Digital Services) to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development, enhancement and continual improvement of the digital products that underpin both our internal operations and the services we provide to children, families and partner agencies.

In this role, you will bring strong leadership to our product management function, ensuring that products are designed and delivered in a way that reflects organisational priorities and responds effectively to user needs. You will work closely with the Digital Programme Delivery Manager, operational colleagues and cross-functional teams, acting as a credible voice for user‑centred design and modern digital practices. You will lead agile delivery processes, guide product direction and support product owners and business users across SCRA.

You will take a holistic, systems thinking approach to how our digital products interact with wider organisational processes, ensuring that development decisions improve usability, efficiency and the overall experience for internal and external users. You will actively interpret user research and analytics, champion accessibility and compliance, and help maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within digital teams.

To be successful, you will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and ideally be working toward or already hold a recognised Product Owner certification. You will bring extensive experience in digital product management, preferably in a public‑sector environment, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. You will be adept at translating complex business needs into clear requirements and guiding teams through iterative development cycles that deliver real value. Experience of agile methodologies, user‑centred design, digital standards, data protection and security considerations will be essential.

Applications for this post must be made through SCRA’s website, where you will find details of all current vacancies.
