SPT Digital are continuing to evolve the Digital Product Team by recruiting an enthusiastic Product Delivery Lead during an exciting period of Digital Transformation.

Our internally developed products support a wide variety of services across SPT (inc Glasgow Subway, Buchanan Bus Station, ZoneCard and Subsidised Bus Services).

This role will be pivotal in supporting the Product Technology Leader and Digital Manager in helping improve our development velocity by organising activities that support digital transformation and service continuity.


The role will primarily focus on organising the feature requests and fault fixes of two software engineering tribes (the teams may split and merge at different times based on priorities). The role includes leading on Scrum Master activities including Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Reviews and Daily Scrums.

SPT Digital projects are varied, encompassing many aspects, including the replacement of legacy systems, innovating solutions to replace paper processes and delving into new solutions across the Partnership.

About You

The successful candidate will be experienced in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and skilled at triaging the requirements of different departments and product owners. You must have excellent communication skills and comfortable explaining the status and roadmap of products to people with differing levels of understanding.

You will be a pragmatic person who understands when processes need to be approached differently to deliver business outcomes or a positive stakeholder experience.

You will have experience in supporting a small group of developers through creating or organising user stories, ideally having taken a lead role in Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Reviews.You will be highly organised and comfortable in changing priorities when required.

You will be able to analyse and evaluate the risks, benefits and negatives of different requests in the wider context of the organisation. This may be as an individual or as part of a team when required.
