Tayside Conctracts is seeking to employ a Business Improvement Officer (Construction), based at Contracts House, Dundee.
37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm And Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm.
£36,270.57 to £38,932.99 per annum (Pay award pending)* Salary placing is dependent on skills and experience.
The role involves assisting the Business Improvement Manager (Construction) with the introduction, formalisation and embedding of performance improvement measurement systems and procedures; the introduction of innovative techniques and processes, in order to bring about quantifiable benefits to the Construction Division.
You will have knowledge and experience of applying ‘Lean Thinking' in a construction setting and experience of analysing and interpreting benchmarking data for continuous improvement. You will have a degree level qualification or equivalent in a construction, management, environmental or related subject.
A Category B driving licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain and access to a motor vehicle or otherwise able to meet the requirement to travel efficiently to other locations is essential for this post.
