An excellent opportunity exists to work within the Regulatory Services team as an animal health and welfare officer. This opportunity, based in Dunoon, would ideally suit those experience applying standard and working in the agricultural sector.

The Dunoon based post (working 2 days per week) will work across the area depending on work priorities. Come join a team working with two other dedicated and professional Animal Health and Welfare Officers and the wider Regulatory Services team. The aim is to protect animal health and welfare, working in partnership with other government agencies and the agricultural sector and to take enforcement action, where appropriate. Flexibility is essential as there will be occasional working early mornings or evenings , working other days to cover livestock markets and out-of-hours depending on service demand/emergencies. The post benefits from the Councils flexible/mobile working arrangements, is a job share, and suitable for secondment.
