An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the road working team at Fushiebridge keeping Midlothian moving. As an experienced road worker you will carry out skilled operations using a range of plant and machinery to maintain and construct roads, drains and footpaths, while ensuring safe operations at all times. The post requires the operation of tools, equipment and heavy goods vehicles for which the appropriate qualifications and tickets are required. You will participate in the winter gritting and snow clearing programme which may attract overtime and standby payments. The post has a good holiday entitlement, employee benefits schemes and an excellent contributory pension scheme.

Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £25,265.56 per annum.
